Phil Orsano

Phil Orsano (he/him) was born in Queens, NY and studied dance at Long Island High School for the Arts (LIHSA) his junior and senior year in HS. Later he received his BFA in Dance Performance at Southern Methodist University.

Phil has danced for Mia Michaels' NYC company "Mia Michaels live" as well as Radio City's New York Spectacular, directed and choreographed by Mia Michaels. He has also had the honor of dancing with Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Hubbard Street 2, OUI Danse, Dana Foglia Dance, Derek Mitchell, and Peridance Ensemble. Commercially he has worked with artists such as Madonna, Debbie Gibson, Jennifer Love Hewitt (The Client List), Jimmy Fallon, Howie Mandel, Lisa Vanderpump (Bravo's Vanderpump Rules), on Maria di Filippi's AMICI (Italian TV program) for two seasons, Law and Order SVU, and more.

Philip is currently teaching at Broadway Dance Center, Peridance, on faculty for Quest Intensive, and is represented by CESD in NYC, and MSA in Los Angeles.

As a choreographer, Phil has been featured in Dance Teacher Magazine for "Video of the Month" for his concept video entitled One. His BDC AIM piece There. was chosen as Choreographers Pick by Brian Friedman at the Pulse. Phil was also fortunate enough to set a full length work at the Performing Arts High School Booker T. Washington entitled Marionette.

Phil is excited to continue his journey as a choreographer, fusing technique and groove to the contemporary world.
