Anna Gortner

Anna Leigh Gortner (she/her) is a professional dancer and tumbler in NYC. She grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio where she trained under Olympic coach Mary Lee Tracy as a J.O. Level 10 competitive gymnast for 6 years where during this time she was a 3 time national qualifier.

Her love of dance and stage acrobatics began at a young age when she was asked to perform in Cincinnati’s annual Christmas production Awaited (Treefrog) which she performed in for 7 years in over 150 shows. In 2022 Anna moved to New York City to complete Broadway Dance Center’s Professional Semester Program where she trained under world renowned faculty.

While in New York she has had the opportunity to assist under Andrew Wilson as well as choreograph for Gotham Gymnastics Team. Most recently, Anna played the role of Tumblebrutus in CATS at Interlakes Summer Theatre under the direction of Chaz Wolcott. Some of her other favorite credits include Tarzan (Gorilla Acrobat) and Peter Pan (ensemble) both at The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati.
