Class Descriptions

CONTEMPORARY JAZZ

Doug's class is a fusion of various styles, including contemporary, jazz, and sometimes classical. Emphasizing stretching, cardio, jumps, isolations, musicality, core strength, and the use of breath to help the blood flow, energize the body and exercise the mind.

The class begins with a contemporary warmup focusing on the mobility and fluidity of movement to help dancers feel grounded and limber. Moving from the center to traveling across the floor, the class transitions into choreography and combinations to finish.
